Before booking kilt hire, confirm the tartan, full outfit contents, measurements, fitting process, collection or delivery plan, return deadline, deposit, cancellation terms and damage policy.
Before You Book
- Choose a tartan path: clan, family, universal, district or colour-led.
- Check whether the supplier has enough matching stock for your group.
- Confirm the event date, collection date and return date.
- Ask what is included in the hire package.
- Ask whether alterations or size swaps are possible after fitting.

Collection and Return
Ask when the outfit can be collected, whether a final try-on is available, how late returns are handled and whether someone else can return the outfit for you after a wedding.
For destination weddings or travel, ask about garment bags, spare laces, emergency contacts and what to do if luggage is delayed.

Do all hire outfits include shoes?
No. Many do, but some suppliers price shoes or accessories separately. Always check package contents.
Should everyone in a wedding party use the same supplier?
Usually yes if you want matching tartans, jackets and accessories. Mixed suppliers can mean slight differences in cloth and outfit style.
